Rod Stewart Los Angeles Concert reviews
Best entertainer ever
I listen to his music in the car and have watched most of the YouTube videos including all the interviews and concerts. I bought his One Night Only DVD. So I knew what to expect. I was not disappointed.
I got a very good seat at the front. The supporting act was noisy and most around me were relieved when it finished. When Rod came on their faces lit up with delight. Some who had come to "support their wives" suddenly realized they were going to have an amazing experience.
We all had an amazing experience. Watching and listening to the nicest and most talented entertainer and his wonderful group. One thing you will always notice about Rod is that he stands back and promotes all members of his group and they all get solo's.
At the end several people said it was the best ever. I agree.
I saw Rod at the Brighton Center in England 35 odd years ago. He was stunning then and has not lost anything since.
This was my first time at the Merriweather Post Pavilion and it was so easy. It is a very nice venue with plenty of staff to help you. Ticketmaster also make it so easy, and when I collected my ticket from 'Will Call' I could enjoy chatting with the guy for ~15 minutes because no one else was around. So easy.
I suppose you think I am gushing too much. There is a reason: Best evening of my life. Thank you.
